Ruoli in Germania: Fenena in Nabucco e Ninetta ne I Vespri Siciliani al Teatro di Freiburg e Sonyetka in Lady Macbeth di Mtsensk, Dritte Dame ne Il Flauto Magico e Blumenmädchen in Parsifal allo Staatstheater Kassel.

Ha coperto il ruolo di Ekaterina Gubanova in Don Carlos al Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, diretta da Zubin Mehta.

Ha eseguito la Missa Solemnis di Beethoven con la Filarmonica di Vilnius, La Morte di Cleopatra di Berlioz la con la National Lithuanian Philharmonic e Music Makers Op. 69 di Elgar al Teatro de Colón con l’Orquesta
Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia. Prende parte alle registrazioni commerciali di Rigoletto come Giovanna con Dmitri Hvorostovsky e Nadine Sierra e di Simon Boccanegra come Amelia con Dmitri Hvorostovsky e Barbara Frittoli, quest’ultima ha vinto il Grammy per la migliore Registrazione d’opera.

Ha collaborato con Thomas Quasthoff al Verbier Fesatival e ha cantato con Kiri te Kanawa a Dublino diretti da Patrik Ringborg.

Dopo gli studi universitari presso la Lithuanian Academy of Theatre and Music, Elgė Šidlauskaitė ha intrapreso gli studi universitari presso il Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi di Milano e ha vinto il Premio Speciale “Deutsche Oper am Rhein” alla Competizione dell’Opera, il Primo Premio all’International Competition Giuseppina Cobelli (IT), il Primo Premio al Concorso Capriolo in Franciacorta, il Primo Premio al concorso Internazionale “Antonina Campi” (Polonia), il Premio Speciale della Città di Crema per il concorso internazionale di lirica di Portofino e nel 2013 è stata finalista nella BBC Cardiff Singer of the World.

Ha anche vinto la Lithuanian Golden Cross, il più alto riconoscimento per le arti performative per la sua esibiziona nel ruolo di Eboli in Don Carlos e il Lithuanian Opera Award come artista dell’anno nel 2016.

Her recent engagements include: Romeo in I Capuleti ed i Montecchi, Mary in Raminta Šerkšnyt˙e’s The Five Miracles of Mary for the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Vilnius and Eboli in Don Carlos at the Lithuanian National Opera, Latvian National Opera, Riga, and Estonian National Opera, Tallinn.

Other recent engagements include: Olga in Eugene Onegin and the role of the Countess in Onut˙e Narbutait˙e’s Cornet for the Lithuanian National Opera, the title-role Carmen for the Music Theatre of Klaipeda, Dorabella in Così Fan Tutte at the Verbier Festival, Gertrud in Hänsel und Gretel at the Vilnius City Opera, Azucena in Il Trovatore with the Compagnia d’Opera Italiana di Milano, which later toured Germany, Austria and France. Upcoming engagements include: Mère Marie in Dialogues des Carmelites at Teatro Cervantes de Málaga and Eboli in Don Carlos at Lithuanian National Opera.

Her roles in Germany have included: Fenena in Nabucco, Ninetta in I Vespri Siciliani at Theater Freiburg and Sonyetka in Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk, Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte and Blumenmädchen in Parsifal at Staatstheater Kassel.

She covered Ekaterina Gubanova in a production of Don Carlos at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, conducted by Zubin Mehta.

On the concert platform Ms Šidlauskaitė’s has performed Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis with the Vilnius Philharmonic, Berlioz’s La Mort de Cleopatra with the National Lithuanian Philharmonic and Elgar’s Music Makers op. 69 at the Teatro de Colón with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia.

She is featured on commercial recordings of Rigoletto as Giovanna starring Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Nadine Sierra and Simon Boccanegra as Amelia starring Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Barbara Frittoli, the latter of which won the Grammy for best Opera Recording.

She has collaborated with Thomas Quasthoff at the Verbier Festival and given concerts with Kiri te Kanawa in Dublin conducted by Patrik Ringborg. Following undergraduate studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Theatre and Music Ms Šidlauskaite undertook graduate studies at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and went on to win the Special Prize “Deutsche Oper am Rhein” at the competizione dell’opera, First prize at the international competition Giuseppina Cobelli, Italy, First prize at the competition Capriolo in Franciacorta, First Prize at the international competition „Antonina Campi“ Poland, the Special Prize City of Crema competizione Lirica Internazionale Portofino and in 2013 was a finalist in the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World. She has also won the Lithuanian Golden Cross, the highest award for performing arts for her performances as Eboli Don Carlos, and the Lithuanian Opera Award – artist of the year in 2016.
